Works perfect

I have a 2014 Silverado Z-71 and I just installed it and wow! I can definitely feel the difference love this, it’s definitely got more power and the transmission shifts smoother now I highly recommend this.

If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative to tuning your car this is the way to go. I tried it on my 2015 Camaro SS and instantly noticed the difference. That annoying sound that you can hear after a muffler delete is gone!! The power is just there at all times as well! I definitely recommend this product.

Bought this because the cylinder deactivation was really frustrating me. It would always turn off the cylinders when it wasn't appropriate. This completely fixed the issue and I'm so happy!!!

DFM Disable 2019 Silverado

I love my truck again. My DFM was driving me crazy! At low power, it would shut off cylinders to a point where my truck had this vibration. Like driving on rumble strips. Had it in to the dealer at least 5 times. It was instrumented and analyzed by GM. Yes it was the DFM, but there isn't anything they could/would do about it. I was well on my way to fight the dealership over it. I hated it and started to hate my truck. Bought this. Plugged it in. Problem solved! No noise. No vibrations. Thank you so much for this! It was worth every cent.

Transmission bangs

This didn't seem to work on my 2016 GMC Sierra SLT, transmission slammed at low speeds and it blocked OnStar diagnostics. I returned it to be updated and it came back, nothing seems any different, trans still slams and OnStar is blocked. Was told oh well take it out when OnStar runs, like I know when that is. Nice customer service, wasted money. I was contacted by someone higher up regarding my review and he offered me the opportunity to return the device and get a full refund. So I chose that and I received the check today, they're customer service raises the rating.

Fixed my problem

I recently straightpiped my 2015 corvette. When it automatically went into v4 mode it sounded horrible. I ordered my afm/dfm disabler and got constant updates about it. Got it the next day after I ordered it. Literally just had to plug it in and now it stays in v8 mode and sounds amazing. Got quotes for a custom tune to fix it and they wanted $800. Thank you very much.

RA003B excellent product

recently purchased a 2011 GMC yukonXL with a 5.3L engine was disapointed with oil consumation. my brother-in-law suggestedthe Range AFM plug-in RA003B. I was using about a quart every 1500 to 2000 miles. I installed the RA003B and changed the oil the next day, after 1000 miles would normally have been at least a pint low still on the full mark Plus the exhaust sounds better and transmission is shifting smother in town. I recently had an exhaust put on my 2021 RST 1500 Silverado and when the AFM would kick in my truck would sound like a Subaru and not that true V8 sound so this product was recommended to me by a friend and I bought it right away put it on the truck as soon as I got it and it is awesome definitely does everything as advertised on the website from throttle response to better fuel mileage and just having the power of 8 cylinders all the time 10/10 recommend!

Good product, minor flaws

Two issues holding it back from 5*s. 1) I have no way to tell if it's working. I'm trying to see if I can "feel" the difference, but the AFM is pretty smooth on the 4.3L V6. 2) It was not clear to me that it has to be unplugged if you're going to go more than a couple of days without driving the vehicle. Apparently it draws electricity and might drain the battery. Great. Another thing to worry about / have to remember. Wonder if this is just the lighting or if the device is drawing? Cause I could do without the lights...

For 2014 Chevrolet Silverado V6 4.3L

Have a truck I use for work that was gaining some mileage. Well, the transmission always felt like a slushbox with 10 gears instead of 6, because it “felt” like the truck was always hunting gears and you’d even see it in the tachometer, going up or down slightly depending on the AFM system. Slight foot movement on the accelerator can make six cylinders kick in when it wasn’t really necessary, or when you push the gas a bit to move on the highway, AFM goes from four to six cylinders THEN the transmission shifts down, and you could be accelerating too much for your foot input. I was often constantly making incremental adjustments back and forth with the gas pedal in passing on the highway. I tried the Range device and it works as advertised. I can feel the difference in how the truck gets up to speed by shifting through the gears without dipping into 4 cylinders. It took a few drives getting used to on-demand power, that I didn’t have to force my foot down as much to keep the truck moving, because now that you have six cylinders, you may not have to downshift to 5th gear on the highway to maintain speed. Like others said, the drivetrain works smoother with this Range AFM Disabler. It makes the acceleration and driving more predictable.

Excellent product

Bought the range for my 2008 5.3 Chevy Silverado. Went from using more than a quart of oil between oil changes to using none. Went from 15 miles to the gallon to 16.1. Engine runs great and have not had to have a tuneup in four years. Highly recommend it. I am buying one for my brother who just bought a 2015 GMC with the same motor.

Great purchase for my 2019 Silverado. I have had my truck to the dealer at least 10 times about the shudder and transmission. As you know the ECM is locked on these trucks and you cannot tune traditionally. It really eliminates most of the shudder I attributed to the transmission but was the DFM. this device has made me ok with driving the truck now. I was ready to trade but didn't want the loss. 198.00 to be okay with the vehicle I bought. Way to go Range.

Smooth as Tennessee whiskey

I didn't even realize just how rough my 2011 silverado was running, that is until I plugged one of these bad boys in! It instantly ran smooth from the first start. I'm really eager to see if it takes care of the burnt up spark plug issue. I'm hopeful it help control the oil consumption issue as well. One tank in and the milage is about normal usually 18mpg to work and 21mpg on the interstate.

Doesn't sound like a Subaru with a far pipe now.

I plugged it in and as soon as I started driving I could tell it was working. I did a muffler delete and hated when it turned to 4 cylinder mode. Now the truck sounds and drives like it should.
